TICAL2025, RedCLARA's flagship event, will be held from November 11 to 13, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cariari in San José, Costa Rica. This new edition will bring together experts, academics, technology sector leaders, and representatives of national research and education networks from across Latin America and the Caribbean, establishing itself as a key space for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the promotion of digital transformation in the region.
The European Union (EU), in collaboration with the development agency Expertise France, has launched a call for proposals to fund projects focused on biodiversity conservation and monitoring in the Great Forests of Mesoamerica. With a budget of €1.2 million, this initiative aims to promote the sustainable use of the region’s forests and the protection of its biodiversity, as part of the Global Gateway strategy.
Brazil's experience in supercomputing and its role in advancing research and innovation inspired the second session of the Call for Ideas, organized by the SPIDER project and RedCLARA. This initiative aims to spark the development of proposals, projects, prototypes, and collaborations that leverage the BELLA project, fostering joint efforts between the European Union, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
