The BELLA II project has taken a key step towards promoting innovation across Latin America and the Caribbean with the launch of the Innovation Hub and its General Catalogue of Initiatives. This Innovation Hub aims to boost innovative products and services within the region's digital ecosystem. One of the Hub's cornerstones, the catalog, serves as a dynamic resource for showcasing innovative products, providing opportunities to connect with key stakeholders such as governments, businesses, and investors.
RedCLARA is leading the development of the Copernicus Academy in Latin America and the Caribbean (Copernicus Academy LAC) within the BELLA II project. In this effort, Guatemala and Uruguay have made significant progress, marking important regional Earth observation advances in recent months.
RedCLARA, in collaboration with the European Union (EU), the Ecuadorian Advanced Network, CEDIA, the Copernicus Programme, the EU Space Support Office, and Universidad de San Francisco from Quito, will host the second edition of the Copernicus Academy Ecuador Deployment event on 26 and 27 September at the university’s facilities. This unique opportunity is free of charge to everyone interested in the technological and scientific development of the country.
