The EU Global Action on Space - an initiative of the European Union that aims to promote EU Space Program solutions and applications around the world – invites all interested parties to the “EU Space Programme benefits and business opportunities for agriculture & emergency response in Latin America” Online Day, to be held on March 23, starting at 9h GMT.
More than 80 researchers, scientists, and experts within the region are participating in the BELLA Ideathon, an innovation challenge between Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, organized by RedCLARA, GÉANT, and the NRENs of both continents.
The recent history of collaboration between Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe moved a chapter forward. On 14 March in Bogotá, Colombia, the European Union-Latin America and Caribbean (EU-LAC) Digital Alliance was launched, a joint initiative that will provide a forum for regular high-level bi-regional dialogue and cooperation on digital and space topics.
