Innovation takes off towards TICAL2025: don’t miss this webinar!

“Innovation with Purpose. When the Network Maximizes Its Impact” is the title of the virtual session to be held on September 9 at 15:00 GMT, serving as a prelude to the in-person Open Innovation Workshop, scheduled for November 10 in San José, Costa Rica, within the framework of the TICAL2025 conference.

The session will be led by Mauricio Reyes Ariza, manager and founder of the company Tecnología e Innovación Inversiones and a Latin American reference in open innovation. With more than 15 years of experience in innovation management, spin-off creation, and technological transformation processes across public and private sectors, he has supported teams in adopting new methodologies. His trajectory positions him as a pioneer in his country and a key voice in bringing innovation from concept to action.

The session will be led by Mauricio Reyes Ariza, manager and founder of Tecnología e Innovación Inversiones and a Latin American reference in open innovation, and Jimmy Cruz Jiménez, political scientist and specialist in Government and Public Policy with extensive experience in coordinating innovation and intellectual property programs in Costa Rica and in developing national technology and telecommunications public policies.

With an inspiring and practical approach, the webinar aims to prepare participants to make the most of the in-person workshop, offering a space for dialogue and exchange on how to transform ideas into real solutions with regional impact.

"It will be a space to learn, exchange ideas, and implement innovation in concrete actions, consolidating itself as a strategic meeting point for those driving science, technology, and innovation in the region," said Tania Altamirano, Academic Relations Manager at RedCLARA.

During the session, participants will talk about the challenges and opportunities of innovation in the region, along with real examples supported by RedCLARA and the National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) that help connect schools, government, businesses, and communities to turn ideas into impactful solutions.

The road to TICAL2025 begins with this virtual session. Don’t miss out: register now and be part of the open innovation movement that is transforming the region.
