The capacity of our networks supports Universities and Research Centres that are vital in the fight against the disease, and they count on our unrestricted support in this circumstance. The global community of NRENs is supporting the fight against the coronavirus

National Research and Education (R&E) Networks (also known as NRENs) together provide critical communications infrastructure for universities and research institutes worldwide. This global network of interconnected networks is boosting international capacity where needed as part of the global rapid response to the recent novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.

RedCLARA and BELLA-T announce new bidding for acquiring optical equipment.

The call for subscription into the new bidding for Optical Equipment opens this Wednesday, March 11, 2020.  Once acquired, the optical equipment will illuminate the interconnection sections of the BELLA-T Project between Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador, in order to update the RedCLARA infrastructure in South America.

BELLA II receives funding from the European Union through the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI), under agreement number 438-964 with DG-INTPA, signed in December 2022. The implementation period of BELLA II is 48 months.
