SPIDER celebró su Demo-Day y presentó soluciones digitales basadas en BELLA.

En seguimiento a la convocatoria lanzada en marzo de 2025, el proyecto SPIDER llevó a cabo el SPIDER Demo-Day para Innovadores Digitales UE–ALC, un evento virtual que marcó el cierre del proceso del llamado de ideas orientado a promover el uso estratégico de la conectividad avanzada entre Europa, América Latina y el Caribe.

(Fuente: SPIDER) El Call for Ideas fue organizado por SPIDER en alianza con RedCLARA y el proyecto BELLA II, con el objetivo de identificar y apoyar soluciones digitales en etapa temprana basadas en inteligencia artificial, ciberseguridad y el uso compartido de recursos digitales, aprovechando la infraestructura de conectividad de BELLA.

Como parte del proceso, los equipos seleccionados participaron en actividades de formación, mentorías y revisiones técnicas de sus presentaciones, diseñadas para fortalecer la claridad conceptual, la viabilidad y el enfoque estratégico de sus propuestas. El ciclo culminó con un Demo-Day organizado por SPIDER, durante el cual los innovadores presentaron sus discursos de posicionamiento finales ante la comunidad SPIDER y actores del ecosistema digital UE–ALC.

Las soluciones presentadas abarcaron áreas como EdTech, inteligencia artificial, ciberseguridad y tecnologías verdes, con proyectos provenientes de Colombia, España, Chile, Guatemala y El Salvador, reflejando el alcance birregional de la convocatoria y la diversidad de enfoques abordados. Los innovadores que presentaron durante el evento fueron:

  • Valía Person (Colombia, EdTech)

  • ATENXIA (España, EdTech)

  • Plataforma de Recomendación y Formación para PYMEs en ALC y UE (Chile, Ciberseguridad)

  • Online Medical Records for Student and Professional Mobility (Guatemala, EdTech)

  • IA GROS (El Salvador, Inteligencia Artificial)

  • Sistema Inteligente de Alerta Temprana para La Mojana (Colombia, GreenTech)

El Demo-Day permitió dar visibilidad a propuestas concretas y reforzó el vínculo entre conectividad avanzada, innovación aplicada y cooperación digital, en línea con los objetivos de los Diálogos Digitales UE–ALC.

The TICAL 2025 conference, part of the BELLA Programme, will be a key event for discussing digital transformations and the implementation of new technologies. Participants will discuss blockchain, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and other areas that are actively changing education and research. Events like these help understand how digital solutions impact society and shape new models of interaction across a wide range of fields. However, digital transformations affect not only science and technology but also social life. One of the key challenges remains the successful integration of people who move to another country for various reasons. The adaptation of migrants is linked to language barriers, cultural differences, and the need for support. This is the focus of a paper onlust-auf-dresden.com, which examines the challenges and possible solutions associated with migrants' adaptation to a new society. This experience is particularly valuable when it comes to creating digital tools that can facilitate the integration process. Ultimately, there is a direct connection between the ideas discussed at the TICAL 2025 conference and the social issues surrounding migration. Digital solutions developed within the BELLA Programme can become an effective tool for reducing adaptation difficulties and strengthening social cohesion. Therefore, discussion of new technologies cannot be separated from the real challenges faced by people moving to other countries.

RECONOCIMIENTO

BELLA II recibe financiamiento de la Unión Europea a través del Instrumento de Vecindad, Desarrollo y Cooperación Internacional (NDICI), bajo el acuerdo número 438-964 con DG- INTPA, firmado en diciembre de 2022. El período de implementación de BELLA II es de 48 meses.
